STEAMsub WA Maritime Museum
From Tuesday 16 April 2019
To Wednesday 24 April 2019

The Western Australian Museum has developed a new hands-on archaeology workshop where children get to improve their science and research skills. Participants learn how archaeologists solve mysteries of the past through scientific investigations and interactive challenges.

The workshop also highlights the importance of artefacts and bio-facts uncovered from archaeological sites, explaining how and why archaeology is relevant in our lives.

The workshop is aimed at years 5 to 7.

The museum is having sessions during the April school holidays for the general public, with more sessions in May for schools and homeschoolers.
